Afkaaruna Islamic School aspires to create a “Tafaqquh fi al-diin” generation (skilled and uphold Islamic thought) Ahlussunnah wal Jama’ah
Afkaaruna Islamic School aspires to create kind-hearted generation who has eight main skills and characters namely shidiq (honest), ikhlas (sincere), tahammul (resilient), discipline, self-reliance, communicative, adaptative, leadership.
“Expecting all children the same age to learn from the same materials is like expecting all children the same age to wear the same size of clothing.”
Afkaaruna Islamic School offers “Tripple S” (Students Support Service). It is a one-stop service desk mainly committed to help parents comprehensively identifying students’ academic progress as well as updating psychological and health conditions. Assessed and analyzed by room leader, medical doctor and professional psychologist, the result of assessment is foundational for helping students to achieve their goals and optimize their potentials.
At the same time, we want to emphasize that academic and non-academic targets are not designed only by parents. Parents need to listen to aspiration of students and educators before the target is determined. This is the reason why we offer an open discussion with parents and students to set up the targets and strategies and to evaluate them time-to-time.
